Use them anywhere
- SVG — clean lines that scale without blurring. Opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma and CAD tools that import SVG.
- PNG — a picture with a transparent background, for slides, Photoshop and Procreate.
- In JotJam — press Use in a design and the symbol lands on your drawing at real size.
- Free for personal and commercial drawings. No credit needed, no sign-up. Just don't resell the symbols as a pack — see the terms.
Getting the scale right
Because every symbol is real size, you never resize it by eye: put a 90 cm door in a wall drawn in centimetres and it simply fits. When you export a scale PDF at 1:50 or 1:100, the symbols come out at that scale with the rest of the drawing. More on sizes in furniture sizes for floor plans and floor plan symbols explained.
Questions
Are the symbols really free?
- Yes. Download them as SVG or PNG without an account and use them in your own drawings and projects, personal or commercial. You don't need to credit JotJam.
What scale are they drawn at?
- Real size: 1 unit is 1 cm. A door symbol is 90 wide, a double bed 160 × 200, a person 175 tall.
Can I use them in AutoCAD or SketchUp?
- Import the SVG where the app supports it. For a whole drawing, place the symbols in a JotJam design and export a DXF.
Will you add more symbols?
- Yes. Tell us what you're missing at the email address in the footer.
